Jade Charbonneau

Jade is an undergraduate student in microbiology and immunology at the Université de Montréal. She is particularly interested in the ethical and social implications of health and research. Having a strong interest in interdisciplinary research, she has joined the team of the Pragmatic Health Ethics Research Unit where she will support the Covid-19 research team, in addition to contributing to the project on emerging ethical challenges related to rare diseases in adults. This will allow her to broaden her knowledge and acquire a solid background in various morally problematic situations and their resolution. Her aspiration being to contribute to the building of a society where its members find their rightful place and can grow and flourish as individuals, she wishes to pursue her academic career at the graduate level with a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science, option Genetic Counselling.
