Abstract
RéSCits aims to establish the first major gathering in Quebec dedicated to advancing citizen knowledge and developing participatory and co-creative research approaches. The network promotes collaboration among scientific, citizen, community, and professional sectors to support the co-construction of knowledge that can contribute to social transformation and the resolution of complex challenges.
Through its knowledge mobilization, research, and training activities, RéSCits helps structure an emerging field of interdisciplinary and intersectoral research. The Network organizes an annual scientific day, citizen dialogues, a learning community, and a summer school dedicated to citizen knowledge and co-creative approaches. It also supports the development of pilot projects, new intersectoral collaborations, methodological standards, and training initiatives related to these approaches. Together, these initiatives aim to better recognize and promote citizen knowledge while fostering more inclusive, democratic, and transformative research practices.
