Sebastian Sattler, PhD, became a researcher at the Institute for Sociology and Social Psychology (University of Cologne) in 2015 following his CGS-Thyssen PostDoc Fellowship at the Cologne Graduate School in Management, Economics and Social Sciences (University of Cologne). After studying sociology, political sciences, and journalism (University of Leipzig), he completed his dissertation on approaches to explaining morally questionable behavior at Bielefeld University. His research interests include the assessment and explanation of behavior that is often perceived as or actually is a violation of social and/or legal norms such as human/cognitive enhancement (CE), academic dishonesty, and stigmatization. Since 2010, he collaborates with the different scholars from the Pragmatic Health Ethics Research Unit.
