Marianne Rochette

Master's student

Marianne followed an undergraduate formation in cognitive science at McGill University, and she is now studying at the graduate level in clinical ethics at the Université de Montréal. Her interest in interdisciplinary research is what first brought her to the Pragmatic Health Ethics Unit, where she now researches on the voluntary aspects of decision-making in the context of drug addiction. She is mainly interested in the ethical implications of the current social paradigm in mental health and in intersectional approaches of health, but also in the value of dialogue in the health care context at all stages of life. In the future, Marianne hopes to pursue a career allowing her both to continue her implication in health ethics research and to develop a clinical ethics practice informed by her research activities.
