Elissa is an undergraduate student studying microbiology and immunology at the University of Montreal. Currently, she assisted as an intern in the project “Morally problematic situations raised by adult rare diseases”. Elissa hopes to pursue medical and graduate studies. She is passionate about interdisciplinary research in the health field, especially research related to moral and ethical implications in healthcare and in the medical system. She hopes through this research to improve the quality of care and the patient experience throughout the medical system.
